9/25/16 Avenues Results

Our NEST+m team had very good representation at the Avenues Tournament.

Rhys Black and Kai Tsuboyama represented in the Primary section, with Kai taking 1st place!

We had strong performances as well from three students in the Classic Section: Jai Shah, Romir Mukherjee and Spencer Chin.

Valli Subramanian and Henry Borredon Shmurun represented the school well in the Novice category and Arjun Gururaja played for us in No Score.  Kyler and Karissa Chiu represented in the Reserve and K-1 sections, respectively.

A Message about Chess at NEST+m 

Dear NEST+m Parent, 

Welcome to the 2016-17 school year! 

The chess community at NEST+m has been very active. The school has two chess instructors and the program is assisted by many volunteers. Chess is represented by a committee on the PTA.

Hi everyone, we hope you had a great summer and are ready for a great year ahead.  The chess tournament schedule kicks off pretty rapidly with tournaments at Hunter (9/18) and Avenues (9/25).
