March 3 NEST+m Tournament Results and Pics!


Nearly 50 NEST+m students participated in our 2019 Spring Tournament!  In total, the school hosted 225 players -- another successful event!  Thank you to all who participated and especially to our Parent Volunteers who donated coffee, donuts, ice, made food runs, and helped sell goods.

NEST+m was represented well at all levels of the tournament!

Reminder: March 3 Chess Tournament!

Hi Chess Families-

Hope you all had a fabulous Winter break.  Just a follow-up from Monica's previous email to remind everyone that our next NEST+m tournament is this Sunday, March 3rd.  We are looking forward to another great tournament.  Coaches Giorgi and Lily will be on site for game analysis.

NEST+m Winter Chess Tournament (Feb 3) Results & Pics!

Congratulations to the 50+ NEST+m students who participated in our second “home” tournament of the year! Overall, nearly 250 participants from across the area competed. NEST+m teams took 1st place in Novice 1, Primary, Reserve and Classic.

1/27 Avenues Results and Pics

Congrats to Morgan Sweeney, Rhys Black and Thomas Murphy who took 1st place as a team in the Classic section at the Avenues Winter Tournament.

Morgan also claimed 1st place after winning a 3-way blitz playoff!
